The stirring club is a wooden, turned mixing device.

It has a very good stirring effect and convinces with its smooth, round outer wall.

The club glides along the edge of the mixing vessel without jerking and stopping, as it is the case with mixers with wooden strips, for example.
Due to its shape, it causes very few disturbing small vortices around itself when stirring, so that the power is optimally transmitted.
    Stirring is noticeably less strenuous!

Inspired by Walter Stappung, we made it according to the dimensions from "Rudolf Steiner's fertilizer preparations".

Both mixers are made of weatherproof larch and therefore ideally suited for use in water. The wood is untreated.

    Dimensions:
Large club: width 13 cm, height 50 cm
is suitable for water volumes between 100 and 400L

Club small: width 9.5 cm, height 32 cm
is suitable for water volumes between 20 and 100L

There is a hole with a diameter of 26 mm to accommodate the rod.

It is recommended to take a slightly thicker elastic stick, eg from a hazel bush, and taper it at the bottom to fit it. A standard broom handle is also suitable for the small clubs.

The rod is attached to the mixer with wood glue and a hose clamp.
