Valerian flower extract 507 (Brunnenhof)

The valerian preparation 507 from Brunnenhof is an important compost preparation used specifically to strengthen the warmth forces in the soil and in the plant. It promotes the phosphorus process, regulates the warmth balance and protects plants from cold damage, especially on frosty nights. It also supports flower formation.

The preparation is made in liquid form and used during composting or as an addition to other preparations. A mixture of 2-3 cm³ of valerian extract in 5 litres of lukewarm water is sufficient to treat larger compost or manure clamps. For frost prevention, application on the evening before cold nights is recommended.

For storage, the valerian preparation is kept in dark, cool and frost-free rooms. It should be kept in closed glass containers surrounded by coconut fibre or peat in order to regulate moisture and preserve its effectiveness.
