Salad rocket "Ruca"
-- organic & open-pollinated -
Do you like pizza, soups or salad ? Then salad rocket is the plant for you. Its slightly peppery taste makes it perfect for garnishing and enhancing dishes, giving them a very special flavour. It should be eaten soon after harvesting, as the leaves quickly turn yellow and wilt. As soon as spring begins, you can start sowing. It is best to sow ‘Rucola’ in a loose, nutrient-rich soil that gets plenty of sun. Sow the seeds thinly and evenly, water regularly and you are done.
